Denbies pride itself as one of the finest venues in Surrey. With a diverse portfolio of restaurants, cafes, A la carte dining and banqueting we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations.
We currently have an opportunity to recruit talented and passionate chefs at all levels to join our culinary team. As a Chef at Denbies Wine Estate, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills, creativity and culinary expertise across a variety of settings, including restaurants, banqueting and special events.
This role is also open to school leavers and graduates who are looking at starting their career in Culinary. Hospitality Apprenticeship offered for all levels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specification and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative menus.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Work efficiently under pressure and contribute to positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen environment.
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Attention to details and passion for delivering exceptional food quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable.

Denbies Wine Estate offers a Graduate Scheme recruiting throughout the year. Intake for a graduate begins in September with an opportunity to work on the operational side of the hospitality industry. Our 12 month programme offers a way to develop your talents in the Hospitality industry.

What will you gain from us?
You will get the support from your Line Manager who will help you in developing your skills. Develop experience in working as part of a team. You will be given the opportunity to work on a project which will then be presented to your Line Manager.
